Reading the '90s: Master List

The 1990s represent a very dry spell in my reading history. For one reason or another (busy with work, family, Internet addiction, etc.), I really did very little reading during the entire decade. Well, except for doll-collector magazines which I devoured in alarming numbers.

So I've devised a little ongoing personal reading challenge to read some of those books published in the 1990s, that I neglected at the time. This is my list of books that look interesting. I'm sure I'll be adding to it over time. I'm sure I won't be reading all of them in this lifetime, but at least it gives me something to aim at.

I was reading in the 90s but I've only read 5 of these books. At the time I obviously wasn't reading new books! That's an impressive list -good luck with working through it.

Lots of good stuff there! :-) I was in college in the 90s and so while I read a lot of books, I didn't get to a lot of current fiction. Some of those I've read since, like Alias Grace and The Robber Bride. Good luck with it. :-)

I like this idea - I also did not read much in the 90's - had 2 kids and then got divorced! I am going to hold onto this list - Great place to start.

I loved the Mitford series. I wish she would continue that series. I like Terry Kay's books too. I'll have to write some titles from your list. Thanks.

I'm very intrigued by your '90's list and I think you have a great idea. I'm curious to read a lot of these on your list. I recognized only a few titles. So, I think the '90's were a dry spell for me in reading as well.
Thanks for coming by my blog on Tues.
